The 13 men who served 500+ aces during 2024 ATP season: Zverev No 1, Mpetshi Perricard with 532 aces in 28 matches
Thirteen players served 500+ aces during the 2024 ATP season while only one player breached the 800-ace milestone for the calendar year.
Last year Hubert Hurkacz was the only man to serve more than 700 aces during the campaign and he finished well clear of his colleagues as he served an incredible 1,031 aces in 69 matches.
The Pole once again features on the 2024 ATP Tour ace chart, but he didn’t come close to replicating last year’s 1,000-ace mark. In fact, none of the other players managed to come within touching distance.

12. Jan Lennard Struff – 500
German Jan Lennard Struff had a 30–21 win-loss record in 2024, winning only one title, the Bavarian Championships in April.
But he was pretty strong on his serve as he won 76% of his first serve points and 81% of his service games while his ace serve percentage was 11.1% in his 51 games.
11. Jack Draper – 513
The left-handed Jack Draper is one of the rising stars of the game as he surged to a career-high No 15 in the ATP Rankings this year.
Draper, who won the Stuttgart Open and Vienna Open, had served under 500 career aces before the start of the 2024 season, but has now taken his tally past 1,000.
10. Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard – 532
Youngster Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard recorded a second serve of 148mph (238km/h) during the Basel Open in 2024, but it wasn’t counted due to a let call. Earlier in the year in Stuttgart, the Frenchman served a 235km/h (146.0mph) second serve.
The 21-year-old’s tally of 532 came from only 28 matches so you can expect him to feature regularly on this list from here on in.
9. Grigor Dimitrov – 541
Last year Grigor Dimitrov served 461 in 62 matches and this year he passed the 500 mark having played two matches more. That shows you his overall improvement as he returned to the top 10 of the ATP Rankings.
The Bulgarian won the Adelaide International at the start of the year while he also finished runner-up at the Miami Open.
8. Alexander Bublik – 565
Alexander Bublik would no doubt finish higher every year if replaced his under arm serves with full-speed serves.
The Kazakh player has served more than 500 aces per season for the last four years. He topped the ace chart in 2021 when he sent down 840 aces.
He also served 316 double faults in his 50 matches this campaign.
7. Tallon Griekspoor – 577
Tallon Griekspoor steered the Netherlands to the Davis Cup final this year as they finished runners-up to Italy.
The Dutch No 1 played 63 matches in 2024 with a win-loss record of 33-30 and he won 67.2% of his service points.
6. Andrey Rublev – 578
Andrey Rublev enjoyed another solid season as he won his second ATP Masters 1000 title when he lifted the Madrid Open trophy in May while he also finished runner-up at the Canadian Open.
The volatile 27-year-old has served just over 3,500 aces during his career with 578 coming during 69 matches in 2024.

5. Jannik Sinner – 594
Man of 2024 Jannik Sinner won the most titles and also topped the prize money earners list as he won more than $16m, but he didn’t serve the most aces in 2024.
He came up just short of the 600 aces in his 79 matches this year, but it is a massive improvement from the 436 in 76 matches last year.
The world No 1 won an incredible 71.1% of his service points.
4. Ben Shelton – 644
Ben Shelton’s stats continue to improve year on year as last year he served 505 aces and this year he passed the 600 mark in 67 top-level matches.
Shelton, who won the US Men’s Clay Court Championships this year and finished runner-up at the Swiss Indoors, won 69.0% of his service points while also serving 223 double faults.
3. Hubert Hurkacz – 776
Hubert Hurkacz is one of the best servers of his generation and his tally of 1,031 from 2023 proves that as it came in only 69 matches.
This campaign he played 59 matches and won 69.3% of his service points. Incredibly, he only served 101 double faults.
2. Taylor Fritz – 795
The big-serving Taylor Fritz reached his maiden Grand Slam final when he finished runner-up to Sinner at the US Open while also losing the ATP Finals finale against the Italian.
Last year he served 692 aces in 2022 it was 642 and in 2021 it was 530.
His ace rate for the year was 13.1%. The fourth best in the top 10 behind Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (21.1%), Hubert Hurkacz (14.9%) and Alexander Bublik (14.2%).
1. Alexander Zverev – 808
Alexander Zverev finished a career-high No 2 in the ATP Rankings after finishing runner-up at the French Open while he also won two ATP Masters 1000 titles.
The German has slowly but surely regained his best form following the horrific injury he suffered at Roland Garros a few years ago.
He has now surpassed the 5,000-ace milestone over his career and the 808 aces he served this season is his best tally for a season.
