Acapulco draw: Rafael Nadal, Stan Wawrinka in top half, Alexander Zverev, Nick Kyrgios in bottom half

There can only be a Rafael Nadal-Nick Kyrgios Mexican Open rematch in the final of this year’s tournament as the pair are in opposite sides of the draw.
Nadal and Kyrgios met in a mouthwatering second-round encounter in Acapulco last year and they delivered with the Australian upsetting the top seed in three sets in a match that had it all.
Kyrgios served underarm and had words with some spectators while his post-win celebrations were also wild.
One word: INCREDIBLE!

After the match Nadal criticised Kyrgios, who went on to win the title, saying: “He lacks respect for the public, the rival and towards himself.”
And the two are once again in the field at the 2020 event, but Nadal will meet fellow Spaniard Pablo Andujar in the first round while Australian Alex de Minaur could be a second-round opponent.
World No 2 Nadal could play third seed Stan Wawrinka, who will face Frances Tiafoe in his opener, in the semi-finals.

Last year’s runner-up Alexander Zverev is the leading player in the bottom half and the German faces Jordan Thompson first up.
The sixth-seeded Kyrgios opens against Frenchman Ugo Humbert and he could meet fourth seed Felix Auger-Aliassime or Kyle Edmund in the quarter-final with Zverev the danger man for the semi-finals.
