Alexander Zverev and former manager set for legal dispute, he confirms

Alexander Zverev frustrated

Alexander Zverev is taking his former manager, Patricio Apey, to court, he has confirmed.

Apey, a talent agent who previously worked with Andy Murray, was helping Zverev through his talent and events management company ACE Group Internatonal, and last year spoke to Tennis365 about the German.

However, it appears the relationship has broken down.

“Now, it is public. That we take my old Manager (Apey) to court. But I don’t have a new one. I will take care of everything first of all.” Tennis Magazine quoted Zverev as saying.

Few details have emerged about the actual nature of the dispute.

Speaking exclusively to Tennis365 about Zverev last year, Apey said: “This is a very, very interesting time for the sport and Zverev is right at the heart of what will be an exciting future.

“His ability is there for all to see and he is also a wonderful athlete to work with.

“To have a player who is 6’6″, blonde hair, blue eyes and is an incredible talent on the court is certainly good for the game.”
