Andy Murray will get an opportunity to avenge his Gijon Open loss to Sebastian Korda in Basel next week.

Murray has been handed the tough first round draw with Korda showing good form in reaching back-to-back ATP Tour semi-finals.

Roberto Bautista Agut or a qualifier will await Murray should be get beyond Korda while the section also contains Casper Ruud, Stan Wawrinka and Brandon Nakashima.

World No 3 and second seed Ruud will face former French Open champion Wawrinka in the opening round of the ATP 500 tournament.

Another Brit in the field Jack is at the opposite end of the draw and faces the toughest imaginable first round opponent in the World No 1 Carlos Alcaraz.

Alcaraz has not won a match since becoming the World No 1 and should be out for a deep run in Basel.

Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp and France’s Adrian Mannarino will battle to determine who Alcaraz or Draper will face in the second round at the Swiss Indoors.

The Swiss Indoors Trophy has some of the biggest names in tennis etched into it with Bjorn Borg, Ivan Lendl, John McEnroe, Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg and Pete Sampras having won the tournament alongside home favourite Roger Federer.

Alcaraz could be on a collision course with his compatriot Pablo Carreno Busta if both men reach the last eight in Basel.

Felix Auger-Aliassime has gone deep again in Antwerp and will open his Basel bid against tricky wildcard and home hope Felix Auger-Aliassime Marc-Andrea Huesler.

Huesler won his first career title as few weeks ago in Sofia while Auger-Aliassime is out to clinch a place at the ATP Tour Finals.

Spanish prospect Alejandro Davidovich Fokina faces Miomir Kecmanovic in the opening round with the winner going on to face either Huesler or Auger-Aliassime.

Alex Di Minaur and Holger Rune will run back their European Open semi-final in the opening round at the St. Jakobshalle Arena.

Di Minaur may have gone down to the Dane this week but he enjoys a seventh seeding in Basel while either American young gun Jenson Brooksby or a qualifier will await the winner of that opening battle.

If the quarter goes according to seeding, the Australian will face Marin Cilic in the quarter-finals.

Cilic will begin his tilt against a qualifier and could meet either Slovak Alex Molcan or American Mackenzie McDonald.

The ATP 500 event accommodates 32 main draw entrants and will run parallel to another ATP 500 tournament in Austria.

The withdrawal of Roger Federer has seen wildcards handed to home players Huesler, and Dominic Stricker and Belgian David Goffin.
