Big Three rivalries with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal ‘great promotion’ for tennis, says Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic says Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal continue to inspire and motivate him, adding that their Big Three rivalry is good for tennis.
The trio has dominated men’s tennis the past three decades, winning 56 Grand Slams between them, including 13 titles in the last 13 major tournaments.
World No 1 Novak Djokovic gives his reaction to the US Open going ahead
The Big Three rivalry has transcended tennis and reigning world No 1 Djokovic, who is currently three adrift of Federer’s record 20 Grand Slams and two behind Nadal’s tally, says he draws inspiration from his two biggest opponents.
“What Roger and Rafa are doing is epic. Both of these guys are legends,” he told Tennis Channel. “They do inspire me and I have said this millions of times and I will say it again. They made me the player I am today. They still continue to inspire me and motivate me to be even better.
“I think these rivalries that we have are great promotion for our sport. They are really good for tennis in general and also for the upcoming generations.
“Hopefully we give a positive example and inspire younger guys to be the best they can possibly be.”
