Brilliant Karen Khachanov ends Novak Djokovic’s streak to win Paris Masters
Karen Khachanov has joined the ATP Masters 1000 winners’ circle after the Russian beat the in-form Novak Djokovic in straight sets to win the Paris Masters.
Djokovic came into the match on the back of 22 consecutive wins while he will also return to the top of the world rankings on Monday.
However, it was Khachanov who came away with the 7-5, 6-4 victory in one hour and 37 minutes.

Djokovic had the early advantage as he broke in game four, but the 22-year-old hit back straightaway to get back on level terms and then claimed the crucial break in game 11.
A single break of serve in game three was enough to earn Khachanov his maiden ATP Masters 1000 trophy.
