Foul-mouthed Corentin Moutet disqualified in Adelaide after telling umpire ‘f*** you’
Corentin Moutet made a shameful exit from the Adelaide International after he was defaulted for insulting an official during his second-round match against Laslo Djere.
The Frenchman won the opening set 6-4 against seventh-seed Djere and found himself 4-2 up in the second set after breaking early. However, things started to unravel and the Serbian broke back in game eight to draw level at 4-4.
After being unhappy with a series of calls from chair umpire, Moutet then completely lost it towards the end of the set as Djere won the set after coming back from 40-0 down in game 12.
World 92 Moutet then started walking towards the umpire’s chair and shouted “f*** you” several times.

The supervisor was called to intervene during the changeover and it was decided to disqualify Moutet.
The 22-year-old expressed his frustration in an Instagram Story, writing: “Different rules, different person. They’ll treat me good when they’ll need me.”
Djere, who received the 4-6, 7-5 walkover, will face third seed Marin Cilic in the quarter-final.
