Dominic Thiem warms up for Roland Garros with Lyon Open crown

Dominic Thiem warmed up for Roland Garros by beating Gilles Simon in the final of the the Lyon Open.
The world number eight dropped the first set but hit back in a second set tie-break to lay the foundation for his victory.
Thiem then went on to dominate the decider to secure a 3-6 7-6 (7/1) 6-1 win.

The 24-year-old faces Ilya Ivashka of Belarus in the first round of next week’s French Open, while home favourite Simon faces Georgia’s Nikoloz Basilashvili.
