Novak Djokovic is working towards an appearance at Indian Wells, according to reports.

Mystery has surrounded details on the former world number one’s planned schedule as he returns from elbow surgery, but L’Equipe journalist Carole Bouchard has claimed he is actively working towards a return and it could be imminent.

Djokovic has won the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells on five occasions, including three consecutive titles between 2014 and 2016.

Serbian website Novosti have made similar claims adding weight to the suspicion that Djokovic will be seen on court again soon.
