‘Now is my time to play,’ says Nick Kyrgios as he prepares for grass-court return after lengthy break

He hasn’t played competitive tennis since February so unsurprisingly Nick Kyrgios is “super excited” to return to action after his hiatus.
Kyrgios has only played six matches this year with his last appearance a third-round defeat against Dominic Thiem at the Australian Open.
Having opted to skip the clay-court season, the world No 56 confirmed in April that he had signed up for the ATP 250 Mallorca Championships, which runs from June 20 to 26.
And he has given another indication that he is close to a return.
“I am super excited to get back there… I am travelling with my best friend and girlfriend. I think now is my time to play,” he told Australia’s Daily Telegraph.
“I’ve had time to rest, regroup and see my family so now it is time to do what I do best.”
