There is some good news in terms of the revamped Davis Cup as International Tennis Federation president David Haggerty has told Telegraph Sport that the revamped tournament “will retain an element of home-and-away after all.
Oh and the Fed Cup will be going down the same road.
Funding for British tennis was down by £4m last year and Mike Dickson from the Daily Mail reports that it was “largely due to the expense of the redevelopment of Court No 1” at Wimbledon.
