Tennis Today: Roger Federer a big tease, Nadal and Djokovic yet to make Saudi Arabia decision

In Tennis Today, everyone is waiting on Roger Federer to make his Paris Masters decision while Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic also yet to confirm if they will pull out of Saudi Arabia match.
What’s on the site
The final ATP Masters 1000 event of 2018, the Paris Masters, is here and we have some betting tips for you.
It’s not the end to a brilliant 2018 season that Kyle Edmund had in mind as the British No 1 has been forced to call a premature end to his campaign due to injury.
Federer has set his sights on 100 ATP Tour singles titles, but he admits Jimmy Connors’ record may be out of reach.
Djokovic is a man on a mission and he has sent an ominous warning to Nadal as they go head-to-head for the world No 1 spot in Paris this week.
World No 1 Nadal, meanwhile, has warned that he is “fit and excited” to be back.
Here is your Monday report from the Paris Masters.
What’s in the news
Federer is teasing everyone about whether or not he will feature at the Paris Masters.
The official Rolex Masters Masters website reported that the 20-time Grand Slam winner is “considering to play in Paris” and he “hopes to play Wednesday evening. That’s the plan. Let’s see if it happens”.
But then Express Sport goes with “Is this clue Roger Federer will WITHDRAW from Paris Masters?”
The clue?
Federer withdrew from last year’s tournament after winning the Swiss Indoors and of course he won the Basel tournament again on Sunday so 1+1=10.
This week’s Tennis Podcast discusses Elina Svitolina’s biggest win of her career, Federer’s 99th title and Grigor Dimitrov and Andre Agassi teaming up.
In case you missed this, Telegraph Sport reported that “Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic express doubts over match in Saudi Arabia – but are yet to withdraw”.
Two days later and they still yet to make a final decision.
