Obviously not the news you were hoping to read so early in the morning, but there are serious doubts over Andy Murray’s Wimbledon participation.
Interesting stuff from Rafael Nadal ahead of the defence of his Madrid Open title with the world No 1 insisting “I don’t think I’m superior to others on clay“. Unfortunately, we can’t say we agree with him.
Queen’s Club will have a very impressive line-up this year with four former Grand Slam winners in the field. Well, we’ll have to wait to find out if Murray will play.
On the back of Novak Djokovic’s shocking overhead smash in Madrid, we found a nice compilation of smash fails from the former world No 1.

What’s in the news
It has been a while since Tennis Today wrote something about Bernard Tomic. Don’t worry it is actually good news as the Australian has won his first match in four months.
The Daily Mail reports that “he pocketed less than $3,500 after winning his first match since January, when he bragged about ‘counting his millions'”.
Staying with the Daily Mail, they really have a bizarre interest in houses of the rich and famous, especially when it goes on the market.
Today it’s the turn of Chris Evert and in case you were wondering the house has eight bedrooms, a pool, soccer field, nine car garage and a tennis court.
We really don’t know what to make of this one from Business Insider UK, but we’ll share it even if it is a couple of days old as we know you’ve always wondered what “tennis icon Roger Federer eats and drinks for breakfast, lunch, and dinner”.
