VIDEO: Roger Federer trains at night in Cincinnati as he prepares for return

Roger Federer has stepped up his preparations to return at the Cincinnati Open.
The 20-time Grand Slam winner has caused controversy by strictly managing his schedule in 2018, leading him to miss all of clay court season and the Rogers Cup in Toronto.
With most of the season now gone, it means the Swiss star has played just two tournaments that Rafael Nadal has also featured in – The Australian Open and Wimbledon.
However, he now appears primed for a return, certainly if the video posted by the official tournament twitter feed is anything to go by.

Although unconfirmed, it appears that Federer is to be joined at the Cincinnati Open by Andy Murray, who also missed the Rogers Cup as he fights he fights his way back onto the ATP Tour following injury.
The former world number one had a great week in Washington, winning three games before withdrawing before the quarter-final citing fatigue following a full year out with a hip injury.
However, all the signs at the moment appear that he will resume his comeback in Cincinnati.
