WATCH: Rafael Nadal looking in great shape in last practice before Monte Carlo

Rafael Nadal is looking like he has put his injury problems behind him – or least on hold – ahead of European clay court season.
The undisputed king of clay has struggled badly with injury in recent months.
He underwent ankle surgery late last year forcing him to miss the ATP Finals. He returned to reach the final of the Australian Open in January, but has since been forced to retire from Indian Wells mid-tournament, as well as subsequently withdraw from the Miami Open.
He, though, vowed to be ready to return for his favoured part of the season, and he has made good on the vow if the video footage if to be trusted.

Nadal has won 11 Monte Carlo Masters titles, including the last three, and beat Kei Nishikori in last year’s final.
