Popular influencer Morgan Riddle has proven to be the biggest winner when it comes to Instagram follower bumps during the Australian Open among partners of players.

Riddle has been the biggest hit of the Australian Open partners, with her Instagram following skyrocketing by 29,215 throughout the Grand Slam.

Research conducted by experts at QR Code Generator, QRFY, examined the social media profiles of the 27 most influential player partners of the Australian Open 2024.

The Wagner College grad, Morgan, has emerged as the standout of this year’s Australian Open, with her follower count growing over three times as much as the second most popular player partner, Paige Lorenze; Morgan’s followers have soared by 29,215 and Paige’s have jumped by 8,611.

Sophia Thomalla’s 6,780 follower increase put her third but well ahead of fourth placed Ayan Broomfield.

While Morgan was supporting her partner Taylor Fritz at the 2022 Australian Open, she was first catapulted to prominence thanks to a ‘get ready with me’ vlog that went viral.

Since then, she has made a good fist of adapting her content to showcase her life as a touring tennis girlfriend, and has developed a large and loyal fanbase.

Riddle also sports more than 420,000 followers in TikTok which has been a platform that has taken to her content style most readily.

Growing up in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Riddle was the oldest of four children born to Rob Kimm, a fishing book author, and Heather Riddle, an executive at Minnesota Public Radio.

At Wagner College in Staten Island, New York City, she pursued her English studies. She started modelling and sharing lifestyle content on TikTok and Instagram when she was a college student.

Following her time in college, she worked in real estate before moving on to become the media director for Love Your Melon, a startup, and the nonprofit Gamers Outreach Foundation.

Riddle is not only active on Instagram and TikTok but also posts content to Youtube.

“From managing their own careers and public personas to balancing the demands of their partner’s schedule and the constant spotlight, the pressure on [partners] can be immense,” a spokesperson for QRFY commented on the findings.

“Their appearance, behaviour and their relationships face constant speculation and criticism.

“Despite these challenges, many [partners], such as Morgan Riddle, navigate this intense world with grace and resilience, and fashion their own identities while being a pillar of support to their partner.”
