Tennis Today: Outlandish Australian Open predictions

We trust you enjoyed the Christmas and Boxing Day festivities, if you celebrate it, but let’s give you an update of what is going on in the world of tennis.
What’s On The Site?
We know tennis is your first love, but if you are into other sports like golf, athletics and Formula 1, then do read our feature on the Sporting Rivalries of 2017. It is that time of the year.
And if you have a bit of time to kill, why don’t you sit back and take a quiz or two. How about an easy one on Goran Ivanisevic? Or the Australian Open? Go on, you know you want to.
What’s In The Papers
Step aside Nostradamus! Tennis coach Paul Annacone has made some predictions ahead of the 2018 season and he says one of only five men can win the Australian Open of the year.
Shock, horror! Annacone, who coached Roger Federer, Pete Sampras and Tim Henman, told The Express that one of Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka is likely to win Down Under.
The Sun really went all out on Christmas Day with their HEY JUDE feature which focused on Judy Murray. If you want to know more about her tattoo, then do give it a read.
Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic sat down with Sport360’s Reem Abulleil on Christmas Day to discuss his “roller coaster ride” the past year and a half and how he can’t wait to return to action at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship.
What’s On Social
Some players are still enjoying their holidays and are happy to post their Christmas snaps on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Mischa Zverev got married and little brother Alexander was on hand to congratulate him.
Players, though, are starting to pack their bags for the long journey to Australia while others are already Down Under.
