I have interviewed: Marcos Baghdatis (an Australian Open finalist and former world No 8), Anna Chakvetadze (a former world No 5 and US Open semi-finalist), Rick Macci (who has coached five future world No 1 players, including Serena and Venus Williams) and Stephen Smith (a leading athlete welfare and injury prevention expert). Ahead of the 2025 French Open, I spoke to tennis greats John McEnroe, Jim Courier and Caroline Wozniacki during TNT Sports events.
During the 2025 grass-court season, I attended the Queen’s Club Championships and the Hurlingham Tennis Classic. At these events, I spoke to Jack Draper, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Arthur Rinderknech.
In 2020, I graduated from the University of Sunderland with a First Class Honours Degree in Sports Journalism and also achieved a Gold Standard NCTJ Diploma in Journalism. For my dissertation-equivalent project, I produced five in-depth articles investigating some of the biggest tennis topics, for which I carried out a range of interviews.
I started working for Tennis365 as a freelance writer in May 2023 and joined Planet Sport in a full-time capacity in September of that year.
My previous tennis roles include writing for Sportskeeda (213 articles between 2021-2022), Tennishead (691 articles in 2021) and Last Word on Sports (49 articles across 2020-2023).
My earliest memory of watching tennis is during the 2009 Wimbledon Championships, and I’ve loved the sport ever since.
During my time at Planet Sport, I have also covered football for TEAMtalk and Football365. My previous football roles include writing for The Shields Gazette, Hartlepool Mail, Sunderland Echo and East Durham Life.
