The 7 women with the most aces on 2024 WTA Tour: Zheng Qinwen the Ace Queen. Coco Gauff at No 7
Zheng Qinwen was miles ahead of everyone else on the 2024 WTA Tour ace charts as she was the only player to serve more than 400 aces this season.
Regular big-servers like Elena Rybakina and Karolina Pliskova also feature while there are a few surprise names on the list.
In case you were wondering, world No 2 Iga Swiatek served only 128 aces in 68 matches in 2024 while world No 4 Jasmine Paolini sent down 89 in 60 WTA Tour matches.
The 7 women with the most aces in 2024:
7. Coco Gauff – 250
Coco Gauff topped the list for most double faults during the 2024 season as she served 430, but on the flip side she also sent down a lot of aces.
The American averaged 3.5 aces during her 71 matches, which contributed nicely to the 71.8% first serves that she won.
Last year Gauff served 260 aces in 66 matches.
6. Karolina Pliskova – 250
Former world No 1 Karolina Pliskova is in the final few years of her career, but she remains one of the best servers in women’s tennis as her 250 aces came in just 36 matches.
Back in 2015, the Czech served 530 aces in 61 matches for an average of 8.7 per match.
5. Paula Badosa – 265
Like Gauff, Paula Badosa also features highly on the double fault chart as she made 310 DFs.
The Spaniard, whose 265 aces were served in 55 matches, won 73.9% of her services games during the 2024 season.

4. Ekaterina Alexandrova – 284
The 30-year-old Ekaterina Alexandrova, who peaked at a career-high No 15 in the WTA Rankings in 2024, managed to win 71.4% of her service games.
Her 284 aces were served in 55 games.
3. Aryna Sabalenka – 307
Aryna Sabalenka served “only” 205 double faults during the 2024 campaign, some progress for someone who topped that particular chart in 2022 with 428 DFs in 55 matches.
Her improved serve is one of the key reasons for her rise to the top of the rankings.
Back in 2022, she served 249 aces in 55 matches, last year it was 404 in 69 matches and this campaign it is 307 in 71 matches with her service games won sitting at 78.5%.
2. Elena Rybakina – 358
Few would disagree that Elena Rybakina would have cracked the 400 ace mark this year had she played more matches.
Sadly for the 2022 Wimbledon champion, she featured in only 53 matches during the 2024 campaign and her average ace count was 6.75.
Last year she served 455 aces in 60 matches to finish second behind Caroline Garcia (462 in 64 matches).
1. Zheng Qinwen – 445
Zheng Qinwen, who finished runner-up at the Australian Open and WTA Finals, won an incredible 75.7% of her first-serve points during the 2024 season and it is no surprise that she finished the season at No 1 in the ace chart.
Her average of 6.54 was slightly lower than Rybakina’s.
Aged just 22, Zheng is a rising star of the game and you can expect her to improve on her already impressive serve as she figures out her game.
