The 9 nations with the most WTA titles in 2024: United States at No 1, Iga Swiatek leads way for Poland
The United States produced eight different trophy winners during the 2024 WTA Tour season as the country won a combined 12 titles during the campaign.
Coco Gauff was one of the eight American WTA players to win a title while Iga Swiatek was one of three Poles to lift trophies in 2024.
Eight nations produced a single WTA Tour title winner and they are: Brazil (Beatriz Haddad Maia – Korea), Colombia (Camila Osorio – Bogota), Italy (Jasmine Paolini – Dubai), Netherlands (Suzan Lamens – Osaka), Serbia (Olga Danilovic – Guangzhou), Slovakia (Rebecca Sramkova – Hua Hin), Spain (Paula Badosa – Washington), Switzerland (Viktorija Golubic – Jiujiang) and Turkey (Zeynep Sonmez – Merida).

9. Latvia – 2
Jelena Ostapenko won five titles in 2024, but two of the Latvian’s titles were in singles events and three in doubles.
The 2007 French Open winner won trophies at the Adelaide International and Ladies Linz to take her career tally to eight.
7. Czech Republic and Great Britain – 3
A trio of players from the Czech Republic shared the titles with Barbora Krejcikova joining the list of Czech Grand Slam winners as she lifted the Wimbledon trophy. The 20-year-old Linda Noskova won the Monterrey Open and veteran Karolina Pliskova won the Transylvania Open – her first title since 2021.
Great Britain had two title winners as Katie Boulter followed up her maiden title in 2023 with a “double” in 2024 as she lifted the San Diego Open trophy and successfully defended her Nottingham Open title. After winning her first Grand Slam match at Wimbledon in July, Sonay Kartal went on to lift her maiden WTA singles title at the Jasmin Open in September.

4. Belarus, China, Kazakstan
Aryna Sabalenka enjoyed a dominant year for Belarus as she won the Australian Open and US Open as well as the WTA 1000 Cincinnati Open and Wuhan Open.
Zheng Qinwen finished at a career-high No 5 in the WTA Rankings in 2024. Chinese star won the biggest title of her career as she claimed gold at the Paris Olympics while she also the Palermo Ladies Open and Pan Pacific Open.
Kazakstan’s Elena Rybakina had a stop-start season, but still managed to win titles in Brisbane, Abu Dhabi and Stuttgart to move to eight WTA career titles.
3. Poland – 7
Iga Swiatek was once again the leader of the pack as she finished with the most WTA singles titles in 2024 with five tournament wins. Her now traditional French Open crown was accompanied by trophies from the Qatar Open, Indian Wells Open, Madrid Open and Italian Open.
But she wasn’t the only Pole in the winner’s circle as Magdalena Fręch won the Guadalajara Open and Magda Linette tasted success at the Prague Open.
2. Russia – 8
The 20-year-old Diana Shnaider was the big Russian star of 2024 as she won the Hua Hin Championships, Bad Homburg Open, Budapest Grand Prix and the Hong Kong Tennis Open. Daria Kasatkina lifted two trophies (Eastbourne International and Ningbo Open), Liudmila Samsonova was crowned champion at the Rosmalen Open and Mirra Andreeva won her maiden title at the Iași Open.

Coco Gauff lifted three trophies as she won the Auckland Open, China Open and WTA Finals while Danielle Collins (Miami Open and Charlestone Open) and Jessica Pegula (German Open and Canadian Open) won two titles each.
Sloane Stephens (Open de Rouen), Madison Keys (Internationaux de Strasbourg), McCartney Kessler (Tennis in the Land), Emma Navarro (Hobart International) and Peyton Stearns (Rabat Grand Prix) also tasted success.
