The 22 active players who have won an ATP Masters 1000 title after Casper Ruud’s Madrid triumph

Casper Ruud claimed the biggest title of his career at the 2025 Madrid Open, and his triumph saw him become the latest first-time Masters 1000 champion.
There are now 22 active players on the ATP Tour who have secured at least one Masters crown.
The nine current Masters 1000 tournaments are: Indian Wells, Miami, Monte Carlo, Madrid, Rome, Toronto/Montreal, Cincinnati, Shanghai and Paris.
Novak Djokovic
Novak Djokovic claimed the first of his record 40 Masters titles at the 2007 Miami Open, where he defeated Guillermo Canas 6-3, 6-2, 6-4.
The Serbian is the only player in history to win all nine of the Masters 1000 tournaments, a remarkable achievement termed the Golden Masters.
Stan Wawrinka
Stan Wawrinka won his only Masters 1000 title in Monte Carlo in 2014, defeating his Swiss compatriot and friend Roger Federer 4-6, 7-6(5), 6-2 in the title match.
Marin Cilic
Marin Cilic downed Andy Murray 6-4, 7-5 at the 2016 Cincinnati Open to get his hands on his only Masters trophy.

Karen Khachanov overcame Djokovic 7-5, 6-4 in the final at the 2018 Paris Masters to win the only 1000 title of his career so far.
Fabio Fognini
In the 2019 Monte Carlo title match, Fabio Fognini earned a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Dusan Lajovic to win his first and only Masters crown.

Daniil Medvedev saw off David Goffin with a 7-6(3), 6-4 win at the 2019 Cincinnati Open to win the first of his six Masters 1000 titles.
Hubert Hurkacz
Hubert Hurkacz downed Jannik Sinner 7-6(4), 6-4 in the 2021 Miami Open championship match to secure the first of two titles at 1000 level.
Stefanos Tsitsipas
Stefanos Tsitsipas claimed the first of three Monte Carlo Masters crowns with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Andrey Rublev in the final at the 2021 edition of the event.
Cameron Norrie
At the 2021 Indian Wells Masters, Cameron Norrie downed Nikoloz Basilashvili 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 to win his maiden and only 1000 title to date.
Taylor Fritz
Taylor Fritz overcame Rafael Nadal 6-3, 7-6(5) in the title match at the 2022 Indian Wells Open to collect his only Masters crown so far.
