The 9 longest ATP Masters 1000 win streaks: Novak Djokovic features four times

Only one player has managed to win 30 or more ATP Masters 1000 matches in a row and that player is Novak Djokovic – and he has done it twice!
Djokovic, of course, has won a record 40 Masters trophies and he is also the only man to win the Career Golden Masters as he has achieved the feat of winning all nine Masters tournaments twice.
So it’s not much of a surprise to see him feature several times on the list of longest winning streaks at ATP Masters 1000 level.
=8. Rafael Nadal – 18
Nadal’s first 18-match winning run at ATP Masters 1000 level took place in 2005 and started at the Monte Carlo Masters before it was ended at the Cincinnati Open.
He won the title in Monte Carlo as he beat Guillermo Coria in the final, then missed the Madrid Open due to injury, before returning at the Italian Open as he again defeated Coria in the showpiece match.
The Spaniard followed it up with the Canadian Open, beating Andre Agassi in the final, and his streak was ended in the first round in Cincinnati by Tomas Berdych.
=8. Rafael Nadal – 18
The 36-time Masters champion’s second 18-match streak also started at the Monte Carlo Masters, this time in 2010, and ended at the Canadian Open later in the year.
Nadal beat Fernando Verdasco in the Principality, followed it up with the title in Madrid by defeating Roger Federer and completed the clay sweep with a win over David Ferrer in the Italian Open final.
7. Pete Sampras – 19
American great Sampras’ dominant run at ATP Masters tournaments took place in 1994 as he kicked it off with a five-set win over Petr Korda in the Indian Wells final and he then completed the Sunshine Double as he got the better of Andre Agassi at the Miami Open.
He missed the Monte Carlo Masters, but won his one and only title at the Italian Open after getting the better of Boris Becker.
After missing Toronto and Cincinnati, he returned in Stockholm but went down in the semi-final against Becker.
