Andy Murray holds the record for the most titles at the Queen’s Club Championships, with the British legend one of five men to win the prestigious grass-court event four or more times.

Here, we look at six players with the most Queen’s Club men’s singles titles in the Open Era.

6. Jimmy Connors – 3 titles

Jimmy Connors collected his maiden title at The Queen’s Club in 1972, beating John Paish 6-2, 6-3 in the championship match.

The American’s next triumph came in 1982, when he defeated John McEnroe 7-5, 6-3 in the final. Connors beat McEnroe again to defend his title in 1983 — this time 6-3, 6-3.

=2. Andy Roddick – 4 titles

Andy Roddick overcame Sebastian Grosjean to win his first two Queen’s crowns in 2003 (6-3, 6-3) and 2004 (7-6, 6-4).

The American claimed a third title in a row with a 7-6, 7-6 victory against Ivo Karlovic in the 2005 championship match.

In 2007, Roddick made it four titles in five years as he edged out a 4-6, 7-6, 7-6 triumph against Nicolas Mahut.

=2. Lleyton Hewitt – 4 titles

Lleyton Hewitt downed Pete Sampras 6-4, 6-4 in the final at the 2000 Queen’s Club Championships to win the event for the first time.

The Aussie successfully defended the crown in 2001 and 2002, defeating Tim Henman in both finals (7-6, 7-6 in 2001 and 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 in 2002).

Hewitt secured his fourth Queen’s title in 2006, when he saw off James Blake by a 6-4, 6-4 scoreline in the title match.

=2. Boris Becker – 4 titles

Boris Becker stormed to a 6-2, 6-3 win against Johan Kriek to win his maiden Queen’s Club title in 1985.

The German added his second and third titles in 1987 and 1988, when he overcame Connors (6-7, 6-3, 6-4) and Edberg (6-1, 3-6, 6-3) in the respective finals.

Becker’s fourth and final triumph came at the 1996 Queen’s Club Championships, when he clinched a 6-4, 7-6 win over Edberg.

=2. John McEnroe – 4 titles

John McEnroe collected his first title at the Queen’s Club Championships in 1979, when he defeated Victor Pecci 6-7, 6-1, 6-1 in the championship match.

The American defended his title the following year with a 6-3, 6-1 hammering of Kim Warwick before making it three consecutive triumphs by beating Brian Gottfried 7-6, 7-5 in the 1981 final.

In 1984, McEnroe won his fourth and final title at Queen’s by earning a 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 victory over Leif Shiras.

1. Andy Murray – 5 titles

Andy Murray claimed his maiden Queen’s Club title in 2009 without dropping a set, beating James Blake 7-5, 6-4 in the final.

The Brit’s second and third crowns at the tournament came in 2011 and 2013, when he overcame Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (3-6, 7-6, 6-4) and Marin Cilic (5-7, 7-5, 6-3) in the respective title matches.

Murray downed Kevin Anderson 6-3, 6-4 in the 2015 final before securing a record fifth title with a 6-7, 6-4, 6-3 victory against Milos Raonic in 2016.
