5. Michael Chang – 4
Michael Chang was a four-time champion across the Sunshine Double tournaments, having won in Indian Wells three times and Miami once.
The American claimed his maiden Indian Wells title in 1992 and won his only Miami crown in the same season to complete the Sunshine Double.
The 1989 French Open winner lifted his second and third Indian Wells trophies in successive editions in 1996 and 1997.
4. Pete Sampras – 5
Pete Sampras secured five titles across the two events: three at the Miami Open and two at the Indian Wells Open.
The American won his maiden Miami crown in 1993 and added further titles in 1994 and 2000.
The 14-time Grand Slam champion achieved his Indian Wells triumphs in back-to-back years in 1994 and 1995.
3. Andre Agassi – 7
Andre Agassi amassed seven trophies at the Sunshine Double events, having collected six of his titles in Miami — a joint-record — and one in Indian Wells.
The American won his first Masters title at the 1990 Miami Open and went on to prevail at the tournament in 1995, 1996, 2001, 2002 and 2003.

Roger Federer won nine titles across the two tournaments, having secured a joint-record five in Indian Wells and four in Miami.
The Swiss’ maiden Indian Wells triumph was in 2004, and he added titles in 2005, 2006, 2012 and 2017.
The 20-time Grand Slam titlist was a champion in Miami in 2005, 2006, 2017 and 2019.

Novak Djokovic holds the record for for the most titles at the Sunshine Double tournaments with a remarkable haul of 11.
The Serbian has secured six titles at the Miami Open, while he is a five-time champion in Indian Wells — both of which are joint-records.
The 24-time major champion won his first-ever Masters 1000 title at the 2007 Miami Open, and he also lifted the trophy in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Djokovic’s Indian Wells victories came in 2008, 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
He has the chance to improve his record if he triumphs at the 2025 Miami Open.
