Novak Djokovic has won more titles on hard courts than any other active ATP player by a huge margin and he shares the all-time record for tournaments won on the surface with Roger Federer. 

There are four current players who have won 15 or more hard-court titles in men’s tennis.

Here, we look at the seven active ATP players with the most hard-court titles.

7. Gael Monfils – 11

Gael Monfils has won 11 of his 12 ATP singles titles at hard-court tournaments and reached 26 of his 34 career finals on the surface, giving him a 11-15 record in hard-court title matches.

The Frenchman’s title haul on hard courts is made up of three ATP 500 crowns and eight ATP 250 events.

Monfils claimed his first hard-court title at the Open de Moselle in 2009, while his most recent victory on the surface was at the 2023 Stockholm Open.

=5. Jannik Sinner – 14

Jannik Sinner has collected 14 of his 16 ATP titles on hard courts and reached 18 of his 20 finals on the surface, which gives him a 14-4 record in finals on hard courts.

The Italian’s trophy collection on hard courts is comprised of two majors, three Masters 1000 titles, four ATP 500s and five ATP 250s.

Sinner won his maiden hard-court title at the 2020 Sofia Open, while his most recent came at the 2024 US Open.

=5. Alexander Zverev – 14

Alexander Zverev has won 14 of his 22 singles titles at hard-court events and he has reached 20 of his 35 finals on the surface, giving him a 14-6 record in hard-court championship matches.

The German’s hard-court title tally consists of two ATP Finals crowns, an Olympic title, two Masters 1000 tournaments, four ATP 500s and five ATP 250s.

Zverev collected his maiden hard-court title at the 2016 St. Petersburg Open, while his most recent triumph on the surface was at the 2023 Chengdu Open.

4. Marin Cilic – 15

Marin Cilic has secured 15 of his 20 ATP singles titles at hard-court tournaments and reached 24 of his 36 finals on the surface, which gives him a 15-9 record in hard-court finals.

The Croatian’s hard-court title haul is made up of one Grand Slam, one Masters 1000 event, one ATP 500 and 12 ATP 250s.

Cilic earned his maiden hard-court tournament victory at the 2008 Connecticut Open, while his most recent was at the 2021 St. Petersburg Open.

3. Daniil Medvedev – 18

Daniil Medvedev has won 18 of his 20 ATP titles on hard courts and reached 33 of his 38 finals on the surface, giving him a 18-15 record in hard-court title matches.

The Russian’s hard-court trophy collection is comprised of one major, one ATP Finals title, five Masters 1000 crowns, four ATP 500 events and seven ATP 250s.

Medvedev claimed his first hard-court title at the 2018 Sydney International, while his most recent came at the 2023 Miami Open.

2. Rafael Nadal – 25

Rafael Nadal has collected 25 of his 92 ATP singles titles at hard-court events and reached 52 of his 131 finals on the surface, which gives him a 25-27 record in hard-court finals.

The Spaniard’s hard-court title haul consists of six Grand Slams, 10 Masters 1000 tournaments, one Olympic title, five ATP 500s and three ATP 250s.

Nadal won his maiden hard-court tournament at the 2005 Canadian Open, while his most recent victory on the surface was at the 2022 Mexican Open.

Djokovic has secured 71 of his 99 ATP titles at hard-court tournaments and reached 92 of his 140 finals on the surface, giving him a 71-21 record in hard-court finals.

The Serbian’s hard-court title tally is made up of 14 Grand Slams, seven ATP Finals crowns, 29 Masters 1000 events, 15 ATP 500s and six ATP 250s.

Djokovic claimed his first title on hard courts in Metz in 2006, while his most recent triumph on the surface came at the 2023 ATP Finals in Turin.
