Ilie Nastase holds the record for the highest win percentage at the ATP Finals among players who have competed at the event multiple times. 

Grigor Dimitrov is the only ATP Finals champion with a 100% record at the tournament, having won all five of his matches the only time he qualified for the event in 2017.

Here are the five players with the best win percentage in matches at the ATP Finals (minimum of 10 matches played).

5. Boris Becker – 73.5%

Boris Becker has a 36-13 record from the 49 matches he featured in at the ATP Finals, which gives him a win rate of 73.5%.

The German claimed three year-end championships crowns from his 11 appearances at the event and was also a five-time runner-up and one-time beaten semi-finalist.

Becker lost in the title match in both his first and last ATP Finals campaigns in 1985 and 1996.

4. Novak Djokovic – 73.5%

Novak Djokovic holds a 50-18 record from the 68 matches he has played at the year-end championships, which gives him a win percentage of 73.5%.

The Serbian has won a record seven titles from his 16 ATP Finals appearances, while he has lost in the final twice and the semi-finals three times.

Djokovic exited at the round robin on his ATP Finals debut in 2007, while he triumphed on his most recent appearance in 2023.

3. Roger Federer – 77.6%

Roger Federer compiled a 59-17 record from the 76 matches he competed in at the ATP Finals, giving him a win rate of 77.6%.

The Swiss lifted the trophy on six occasions across his 17 appearances at the ATP Finals, while he is also a four-time runner-up and six-time beaten semi-finalist.

Federer was a semi-finalist in both his first and final year-end championship campaigns in 2002 and 2019.

2. Ivan Lendl – 79.6%

Ivan Lendl built a 39-10 record from the 49 matches he contested at the year-end championships, giving him a win percentage of 79.6%,

The Czech-American collected five titles from his 12 campaigns at the ATP Finals, while he also lost in he final on four occasions and the semi-finals three times.

Lendl was a runner-up on his year-end championships debut in 1980 and a semi-finalist on his last appearance in 1991.

1. Ilie Nastase – 88%

Ilie Nastase amassed a 22-3 record from the 25 matches he played at the ATP Finals, which gives him a win rate of 88%.

The Romanian secured four titles from his five appearances at the year-end championships, while he was also a runner-up in 1974.

Nastase triumphed in both his first and last ATP Finals campaigns in 1971 and 1975.
