Serena Williams holds the record for the most women’s singles matches won at the US Open and is one of two players to earn over 100 victories at the New York major.

There are six women who have won over 60 matches at the US Open, while five have reached the 70 mark, and just three have surpassed 80.

Here, we look at the seven players with the most women’s singles match victories at the US Open in the Open Era.

7. Arantxa Sanchez Vicario – 56

Arantxa Sanchez Vicario accumulated a 56-12 record at the US Open, having made her debut in 1987 and her last appearance in 2002.

From her 16 appearances at the hard-court major, the Spaniard collected one title and was also a runner-up on one occasion.

6. Lindsay Davenport – 62

Lindsay Davenport amassed a 62-16 record at the US Open, where she made her debut in 1991 and her final appearance in 2008.

The American won one of the two title matches she reached in her 17 campaigns at her home Grand Slam.

The German secured five titles from the eight finals she contested at the New York major, where she played 14 times.

4. Venus Williams – 79

Venus Williams holds a 79-21 record at the US Open, where she made her debut in 1997, while her most recent appearance came in 2023.

The American has claimed two titles from the four championship matches she has played in her 24 campaigns at Flushing Meadows.

3. Martina Navratilova – 89

Martina Navratilova finished her career with an 89-17 record at the US Open, having made her debut in 1973 and her last appearance in 1993.

The Czech-American won four of the eight title matches she contested in her 21 appearances at the US Open.

2. Chris Evert – 101

Chris Evert amassed a 101-12 record at the US Open, where she made her debut in 1971 and played for the last time in 1989.

The American collected a joint-record six titles and was a three-time runner-up at the New York Grand Slam, where she made 19 appearances.
