The WTA Tour thrived in 2024, though some players found more success on the court than others.

We look at the nine women who recorded the highest win percentages on the WTA this season.

9) Danielle Collins – 69.1%

In what was originally set to be her final year on tour, Collins produced arguably the best year of her career – winning close to 70% of her matches.

The American went 38-17 for the season, most notably winning titles in Miami and Charleston, and reaching a further final in Strasbourg.

8) Rebecca Sramkova – 70.6%

One of the breakout stars of the year, Sramkova won 24 of her 34 tour-level matches as she surged up the rankings during the second half of 2024.

The world No 43 won her first WTA title in Hua Hin and reached further finals in Monastir and Jiangxi, alongside playing a starring role for Slovakia in their run to the Billie Jean King Cup Final.

7) Jessica Pegula – 70.9%

Pegula’s season was bumpy at points but the world No 7 ultimately put together a solid 39-16 record for 2024, a win percentage of just under 71%.

The highlight of her season was reaching a first major final at the US Open, though she was also the champion in Toronto and Berlin and a finalist in Cincinnati.

6) Zheng Qinwen – 73.5%

One of four WTA players to win a half-century of matches in 2024, Qinwen cracked the top five at the end of the season thanks to some hugely impressive results.

The Chinese won Olympic gold and was also the champion in Palermo and Tokyo, alongside Australian Open, Wuhan, and WTA Finals runner-up finishes – holding a 50-18 record for the season.

5) Karolina Muchova – 75%

Battling back from injury, Muchova surged back into the top 25 of the WTA rankings despite only starting her season in late June.

The Czech reached finals in Beijing and Palermo and was also a semi-finalist at the US Open, winning 21 of her 28 tour matches to hold an impressive win percentage of 75%.

4) Coco Gauff – 76.1%

Gauff’s summer was bumpy but the American was still able to finish an overall impressive season as the world No 3 after winning just over 76% of her matches in 2024.

The US star went 54-17 for the year with the highlight of her season being victory at the WTA Finals, alongside further titles in Beijing and Auckland – and semi-finals at the Australian and French Open.

3) Elena Rybakina – 79.6%

Despite a season marred by injury and illness, world No 6 Rybakina still won close to 80% of her matches throughout 2024, holding a 43-11 record for the year.

The Kazakh won WTA 500 titles in Brisbane, Abu Dhabi, and Stuttgart, and also impressed with runs to WTA 1000 finals in Doha and Miami.

Rybakina was also a Wimbledon semi-finalist and French Open quarter-finalist in 2024.

2) Aryna Sabalenka – 80%

Year-end No 1 Sabalenka produced the best season of her career, winning two major titles and four WTA titles overall – the most she has ever won in an individual year.

The Belarusian was the champion at the Australian Open and US Open, while she was also triumphant in Cincinnati and Wuhan.

Sabalenka finished the year with a 56-14 record, reaching further finals in Brisbane, Madrid, and Rome.

1) Iga Swiatek – 87.7%

Despite being toppled by Sabalenka as the world No 1, Swiatek still won more matches and titles than any woman in 2024 – and her win percentage of 87.7% also places her top of this countdown.

Swiatek’s season was highlighted by winning her fourth title at Roland Garros, while winning further titles in Doha, Indian Wells, Madrid, and Rome.

The Pole lost just nine of 73 matches in 2024, with other notable performances including semi-final showings in Dubai, Cincinnati, and at the Olympic Games.
