Jakub Mensik joined Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz on the list of the youngest players to win a Masters 1000 title with his 2025 Miami Open victory.

5. Jakub Mensik – 19 years and 210 days old
Jakub Mensik’s first-ever ATP title came at Masters 1000 title at the 2025 Miami Open, where he became the second unseeded champion in the tournament’s history.
The 19-year-old Czech beat Roberto Bautista Agut, Jack Draper, Roman Safiullin, Arthur Fils, Taylor Fritz and Novak Djokovic, while he also received a fourth round walkover when Tomas Machac withdrew.
The 18-year-and-102-day age gap between Mensik and 37-year-old tennis legend Djokovic in the Miami final is the largest-ever age gap between two Masters finalists.
4. Holger Rune – 19 years and 181 days old
Holger Rune was 19 years and 181 days old when he lifted his first and only Masters 1000 title to date at the 2022 Paris Masters.
The Dane, who was unseeded, downed Stan Wawrinka, Hubert Hurkacz, Andrey Rublev, Carlos Alcaraz, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Djokovic during a memorable run.
3. Carlos Alcaraz – 18 years and 334 days old
Carlos Alcaraz became the youngest champion in the history of the Miami Open when he won his maiden Masters 1000 title at the 2022 edition of the event.
The Spaniard, who was seeded 14th, earned victories over Marton Fucsovics, Marin Cilic, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Miomir Kecmanovic, Hubert Hurkacz and Casper Ruud in his title run.
Alcaraz also won the 2022 Madrid Open — his second Masters 1000 title — three days after turning 19.

2. Rafael Nadal – 18 years and 318 days old
Rafael Nadal’s maiden Masters title arrived at the age of 18 years and 318 days when he secured the first of his 11 Monte Carlo crowns in 2005.
The Spaniard, who was the No 11 seed, overcame Gael Monfils, Xavier Malisse, Olivier Rochus, Gaston Gaudio, Richard Gasquet and Guillermo Coria en route to the title.
Nadal also won his second Masters title — the 2005 Italian Open — before his 19th birthday.
1. Michael Chang – 18 years and 158 days old
Michael Chang’s triumph at the 1990 Canadian Open gives him the distinction of being the youngest player to win an ATP Masters title.
The 18-year-old American, who was seeded seventh, defeated Broderick Dyke, David Wheaton, Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras and Jay Berger during his run in Toronto.
This was the first of seven Masters series titles for Chang.
