Gallery of Serena Williams’ fashion statements: boots, catsuits, trench coats

Serena Williams marked her return to Grand Slam tennis with a stunning catsuit at Roland Garros.
“It feels like this suit represents all the women that have been through a lot mentally, physically, with their body to come back and have confidence and to believe in themselves,” she said about her outfit after her victory at the French Open.
In case you missed the catsuit, here it is again.
A close-up of the red belt.
It’s not the first time and it won’t be the last time that the American’s outfit on the court has caused a stir.
Her famous catsuit made its debut at the 2002 US Open.

She went all orange at the 2003 Italian Open. If you are going to slide, then best do it in shorts.

We also saw the famous boots at the 2004 US Open.
At the same 2004 US Open, there was also the denim skirt.
It may be hot in Melbourne in January, but if Serena wants to wear leg warmers at the Australian Open, she can.
There was also the skirt and the leg warmers at the 2005 Australian Open.
If not a skirt and leg-warmers, then how about shorts? We actually just wanted to use this great picture.
Trench coat time at Wimbledon in 2008. Again, if Serena wants to warm up in a trench coat when it’s 100 degrees, she can.
Blending in with the clay courts of Madrid in 2010.
If you are going to win the 2014 US Open, then win it in a leopard-printed dress.
It comes in pink as well.
Another coat moment, in pink and all that, at the 2015 Australian Open.
She went all yellow at the 2016 Australian Open.
If you can have leg warmers, why not arm warmers as well? She’s Serena she can do whatever she wants. This at the 2016 US Open.
Here’s a bonus pic of her earring at the 2007 Sony Ericsson Open.
