‘I don’t have symptoms of coronavirus,’ says Iga Swiatek after contact with Poland president

French Open winner Iga Swiatek will self-isolate for the next few days after she came into contact with Polish President Andrzej Duda, who has tested positive for coronavirus.
Following her Roland Garros success a fortnight ago, the 19-year-old Swiatek met Duda in Warsaw on Friday as she was awarded the Gold Cross of Merit, a Polish state decoration, for her Grand Slam achievements.

Both Swiatek and Duda wore masks, but the Polish government announced on Saturday that the president had tested positive for Covid-19.
Swiatek confirmed on Twitter that she doesn’t have symptoms, but will she and her team will quarantine following the president’s positive test.
Ani ja, ani członkowie mojego teamu nie mamy objawów koronawirusa. Wykonujemy testy regularnie. Zgodnie z obowiązującymi procedurami poddajemy się kwarantannie. Badania powtórzymy za trzy dni. Życzymy wszystkim dużo zdrowia, uważajcie na siebie!✊😷
