Andy Murray opens the door to partnering Serena Williams or Venus Williams at Wimbledon

Andy Murray has said he’d be interested in partnering Serena or Venus Williams in the mixed doubles at Wimbledon – if either of them are up for it.
Murray made a successful comeback to tennis, winning the Queen’s doubles with Feliciano Lopez in his first tournament back after hip surgery.
He will play men’s doubles again at Wimbledon, this time with Pierre-Hugues Herbert, but is still searching for a mixed doubles partner.
Could one of the Williams sisters appeal? “I’d be up for that. They are both brilliant players,” Murray said when asked.
“I don’t know whether they’d be up for playing, they are both very busy.
“They normally play doubles together and I also appreciate if you have aspirations to go very far in the singles it is difficult to commit to the whole event as well.”
Victoria Azarenka is another option that Murray may explore, but Kiki Mladenovic has rejected the offer.
“I got turned down by Kiki Mladenovic,” he said. “she said she couldn’t commit to playing three events either.
“I didn’t chat to Azarenka yet but I know she is playing singles and doubles. I feel a bit tight asking people. I want to make sure they want to play.”
