Marin Cilic among early winners on day one at Wimbledon

Finalist Marin Cilic made light work of Yoshihito Nishioka to reach the second round of Wimbledon.
The former US Open winner had too much in his locker for the man from Japan, winning 6-1, 6-4, 6-4 in one hour and 49 minutes.
Big-serving American Sam Querrey, who beat two-time winner Andy Murray in the quarter-final last year, also advanced as the 11th seed secured a 6-2, 6-4, 6-3 win over Jordan Thompson from Australia.
Germany’s Philipp Kohlschreiber, who is ranked 25th, also booked his round two ticket on the back of a 6-2, 6-4, 7-5 win over Evgeny Donskoy while the 17th seeded Lucas Pouille from France beat Denis Kudla 6-3, 6-3, 2-6, 6-3.
