Taylor Fritz and Morgan Riddle confirm status as tennis power couple with new deal

Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend Morgan Riddle is one of the highest-profile partners on the tennis stage and now the couple have teamed up in a high-profile sponsorship deal.

Fritz, who won a bronze medal with his American partner Tommy Paul in the doubles competition at the Paris Olympics, and his partner Morgan have been used to promote the new alcohol-free Heineken brand launching at the 2024 US Open and have posed for images that have been posted on their social media pages.

Morgan is a big star in her own right on Instagram, with 348k followers lapping up stories of her travels around the world supporting Fritz in his career.

Fritz has an impressive 631k followers so there is a potent combination for potential sponsors.

Now the couple have signed another big deal, as they posted this message on Instagram message announcing the Heineken agreement: “We are so excited to partner with @Heineken_US as they launch L0VE.L0VE — a limited edition design transforming the iconic Heineken 0.0 label for this year’s @usopen.

“Now you can celebrate our love for the game, moderation, and all the possibilities the start of the match brings. Because when the score is L0VE.L0VE, anything is possible.”

Fritz spoke to Tennis365 last year about his relationship with Riddle in an exclusive interview, as he suggested the sport needs to do more to reach out to an audience beyond those who enjoy tennis.

“I think that is the most important thing we need to do in our sport,” Fritz told Tennis365, as he advocated for tennis players to be given more exposure on a global media platform.

“When I think back to tennis players and sports stars that I admired or paid attention to it was always because firstly I valued their abilities on the court or on the field, and secondly because I connected with their story and the stories of those around them.

“Tennis has to do a better job in telling those stories. If you look at F1 now for example, people are captivated by F1 because Drive to Survive did an amazing job of letting people into that world and telling the stories of the drivers.

“Now the fans feel more connected than ever because they know the man under the helmet, and because of that, they feel more invested.

“I grew up gaming a lot (still do) and watching YouTube videos and YouTube creators, so I know how many alternative entertainment options there are out there for young people.

“We as a sport have to figure out how to better reach that audience and bring a younger crowd into tennis. I don’t know what the answer is, but we have to make some changes to find a better balance between the great traditions of tennis, which I love and value, and what that new audience is looking for.”

With Taylor and Morgan boasting such a big presence on Instagram, they are certain to be the focus of attention for the media as Fritz carries American hopes heading into the US Open.
