Timothee Chalamet, Kylie Jenner join famous faces spotted at Indian Wells

Tennis fans were left stunned after one of the most famous couples in the world was spotted courtside in Indian Wells on Sunday.
Two-time Oscar nominee Timothee Chalamet and reality star Kylie Jenner, who have reportedly been dating in 2023, were among the interested spectators in Tennis Paradise over the weekend.
The couple were joined by Kylie’s older sister, model Kendall, for action on Stadium 1, watching Holger Rune defeat Ugo Humbert before Mirra Andreeva’s win over Clara Tauson.
The super-couple’s appearance quickly spread over social media, and in a cheeky message, 12th seed Rune was keen to recognise their support.
Former world No 4 Rune took to Twitter/X, and posted “Love the support out here @BNPPARIBASOPEN”, quoting an ATP Tour tweet highlighting Chalamet and Jenner’s appearance.
Though they are arguably the most famous faces to be spotted in the stands so far this year, Chalamet and Jenner are far from the only celebrities to take in some tennis action in the desert over the years.
We take a look back at some of the biggest names who have been spotted in Indian Wells.
Zendaya and Tom Holland
You only have to rewind twelve months to come across another modern super couple who enjoyed some tennis action at the famed ATP and WTA 1000 event.
Acting stars – and real-life couple – Zendaya and Holland were among the special guests on Finals Day in 2024, watching Iga Swiatek beat Maria Sakkari before Carlos Alcaraz downed Daniil Medvedev.
The main reason the couple were present was Zendaya’s impending starring role in Challengers, which was released just one month after action in Indian Wells concluded.
Zendaya and Swiatek in fact met, and were pictured together, after the latter claimed her second title in the space of three years.
Ben Stiller
One of tennis’ most famous fans, Ben Stiller has been a regular figure at multiple tennis events over the years; he was spotted at both Roland Garros and the US Open in 2024.
However, the Hollywood star and wife – and fellow star – Christine Taylor have also attended Indian Wells in the past.
The pair were courtside multiple times in 2022, watching multiple Rafael Nadal matches as the Spaniard went all the way to the final, ultimately falling to US star Taylor Fritz.
Stiller and Taylor were also pictured at the event in 2012 and 2019, and his love for tennis was mentioned by Coco Gauff after the two met at the Oscars last week.
She said: “I saw Ben Stiller out there. I wasn’t so surprised at him because I know he’s a tennis fan, but I told him he has to come to one of my matches because I only really see him at the men’s matches – so I told him he has to come.”

Leonardo DiCaprio
Oscar-winning icon DiCaprio might not be as famous of a tennis fan as Stiller, but the legendary star has been spotted in Indian Wells in the past.
The actor was sighted at the tournament back in 2017 and has also been spotted at the US Open over the years.

Lindsey Vonn
One of the biggest sporting stars to profess their love for tennis, skiing icon Lindsey Vonn attracted the wrath of some Novak Djokovic fans when she referred to Roger Federer as the ‘GOAT’ on social media.
However, she quickly silenced any criticism after meeting Djokovic in Indian Wells last year, sharing a selfie on social media.
She wrote: “Hanging with the [GOAT], and yes, I do believe he is the goat. Contrary to twitter beliefs, I think there can be more than one.”
