ATP Rankings Winners & Losers Wimbledon Week 1: Fritz eyes top four, Fonseca top 50, Jarry +48

Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz remain clear in the ATP Rankings after week one at Wimbledon and they will stay there irrespective of their results in the remainder of the tournament, but Jack Draper could lose fourth spot to Taylor Fritz or Novak Djokovic.
World No 1 Sinner was always assured of keeping top spot after the grass-court major, even if he lost early with Alcaraz keeping second place, but the Spaniard is in danger of losing ground to the Italian if he doesn’t reach the final.
For now, it looks like the status quo will remain for the top three with Alexander Zverev also staying in third place despite his shock first-round exit to Arthur Rinderknech.
But Jack Draper looks set to lose fourth place after Wimbledon while Ben Shelton could move up several spots.
ATP Rankings Top 10 Before Wimbledon
1. Jannik Sinner Italy – 10,430 points
2. Carlos Alcaraz Spain – 9,300
3. Alexander Zverev Germany – 6,500
4. Jack Draper Great Britain – 4,650

7. Lorenzo Musetti Italy – 4,140
8. Holger Rune Denmark – 3,530
9. Daniil Medvedev – 3,420
10. Ben Shelton United States – 3,130
With Fritz and Djokovic still alive, they could overtake Draper following his second-round defeat to former US Open winner Marin Cilic in the second round, but there is hope for the British No 1 as Fritz will need to reach the semi-final to pass him while Djokovic can only move ahead of him if he wins the tournament.
Lorenzo Musetti and Holger Rune crashed out early, but for now they keep seventh and eighth, respectively while Daniil Medvedev has slumped five spots to No 14 with Ben Shelton up one place and Andrey Rublev +4 after reaching the last 16.

Big Winners So Far
Nicolas Jarry is projected to the top 100 following his impressive run to the fourth round with wins over eighth seed Rune and rising stars Learner Tien and Joao Fonseca.
The Chilean came through qualifying and has now achieved his best-ever run at Wimbledon, resulting a 48-place rise to No 95 and he could return to the top 80 if he beats Cameron Norrie next.
Norrie himself is set to climb nine spots to No 52 while Fonseca has broken into the top 50 for the first time in the Live Rankings as he is up seven places to No 57 after reaching the third round.

Kamil Majchrzak is the other surprise player in the fourth round with the Pole starting the tournament at No 109, but his three wins will see him jump 30 places to No 79. He faces Karen Khachanov for a place in the quarter-final.
August Holmgren was another surprise package at the All England Club as he came through qualifying and then stunned 21st seed Tomas Machac in the second round. His reward is a 46-place jump to No 146.
But the biggest riser will be Oliver Tarvet after the British youngster came through qualifying and then reached the second. The 21-year-old is set for a +337-place boost to a new high of No 396.
Wildcard Jack Pinnington Jones also reached the second round and he will climb 60 places to No 221.
Big Losers So Far
Just weeks after reaching a career-high of eighth, Tommy Paul is expected to slip to No 16 after his second-round defeat while Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard will drop eight places to No 44 after losing in the first round. The Frenchman, though, was handed a nightmare opener against Fritz.
Roberto Bautista Agut reached the fourth round 12 months ago at Wimbledon, but he fell at the first hurdle and the result is a 12-place drop to No 54.
Fabio Fognini is -20 (No 158) after losing in the first round to Alcaraz, but he will be proud of his final appearance at Wimbledon after losing in five sets.
