Emma Raducanu worked her way back up the WTA Rankings in 2024 and she will be looking to continue her rise during the 2025 season.

But which tournaments are set to feature on her calendar during the 2025 campaign?

Raducanu played 13 tournaments during the 2024 season as she finished with a 23–13 win-loss record, her best year to date in top-level tennis as she was 17–19 in 18 events in 2022 and 12–6 from seven tournaments in 2021.

“I’m excited and just itchy to kind of get on the practice court,” she said after helping Great Britain to reach the Billie Jean King Cup semi-finals.

“I can already pick out which areas I want to improve and, yeah, look forward to 2025 and to a strong pre-season.”

Once pre-season is complete, Raducanu will head to New Zealand as she will kick off her new WTA Tour campaign in Auckland, but she could still be dependent on wildcards during the early part of the season as she looks to climb up the rankings.

Raducanu will start the new year at No 58 in the WTA Rankings, good enough for an entry into the Grand Slams and some WTA 1000 events.

Emma Raducanu’s possible 2025 tennis calendar

ASB Classic – December 30-January 5

Raducanu will for the third consecutive year start her season in New Zealand as she has signed up for the WTA 250 ASB Classic.

She reached the last 16 during her previous two visits to Auckland.

Australian Open – January 13-26

The British No 2 has opted to skip the WTA events the week before the season-opening Grand Slam and she will likely stick with that schedule in 2025.

Last year she beat Shelby Rogers in the first round before losing against Wang Yafan in the second round.

Abu Dhabi Open – February 3-9

Raducanu received a wildcard for the WTA 500 event last year and will again be first on the list for a wildcard if she hasn’t climbed up the rankings.

The 22-year-old lost in the second round against Ons Jabeur during the 2024 tournament.

Qatar Open – February 10-16

The Qatar Open is the first WTA 1000 event of the season and it is a 56-player singles draw.

Raducanu entered via a wildcard in 2024 and fell in the first round to Anna Kalinina.

Dubai Tennis Championships – February 17-23

The 2021 US Open champion was initially set to compete in the second WTA 1000 event of the season in 2024, but made a last-minute decision to skip the Dubai tournament in order to work on her fitness.

If she is 100%, then she is likely to feature in 2025.

Indian Wells Open – March 5-16

The first big event on American soil takes place in Indian Wells and it is a favourite among players.

Raducanu has played the Indian Wells Open for the past four years, reaching the fourth round in 2023 and the third round last year.

Miami Open – March 18-30

Raducanu missed the 2024 Miami Open due to a back injury, but should be back in the main draw in 2025.

She lost in the second round on her debut in 2022 and the first round the following year.

Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers – April 7-13

Emma Raducanu played a crucial role in Great Britain’s run to the semi-finals of the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup and she looks set to feature again in 2025 should Team GB need to come through the qualifiers.

Porsche Tennis Grand Prix – April 14-20

Raducanu is a Porsche brand ambassador and will no doubt return to Stuttgart for the first big clay-court event of the season.

She lost in the quarter-final against Iga Swiatek in 2024.

Madrid Open – April 22-May 4

Raducanu reached the third round of the WTA 1000 Madrid Open in 2022, but lost in the first round last year.

Italian Open – May 8-18

The former world No 10 has not played in Rome since she made her debut in 2022, losing in the first round.

In 2023 she missed the tournament as she underwent surgery while in 2024 season she opted to skip the event and the remainder of the clay season to focus on grass.

French Open – May 25-June 8

Raducanu has made only one appearance at Roland Garros and that was in 2022, losing in the second round against Anna Sasnovich.

Since she has no points to defend, a couple of wins could result in a surge up the rankings.

Queen’s Club Championships – June 9-15

Queen’s Club will return to the WTA calendar in 2025 after a 50-year absence and Raducanu will no doubt be one of the high-profile players at the WTA 500 event.

Nottingham Open – June 16-22

Raducanu played in all three big UK grass-court tournaments in 2024 and reached the semi-final in Nottingham before losing against eventual winner Katie Boulter.

She is expected to return in 2025 to defend her points.

Eastbourne International – June 23-28

The last grass-court event before Wimbledon, Raducanu made it to the quarter-final of the WTA 250 tournament in 2024.

This, though, could be one of the events in order to preserve energy for the third Grand Slam of the year.

Wimbledon – June 30-July 13

After missing Wimbledon in 2023 due to surgery, Raducanu impressed in 2024 as she reached the fourth round, beating ninth seed Maria Sakkari in the third round before losing against Lulu Sun in the last 16.

Citi DC Open – July 21-27

After skipping the 2024 Paris Olympics, Raducanu opted to head to the United States and it initially turned out to be a good decision as she reached the quarter-final in Washington D.C.

Canadian Open – July 27-August 8

Raducanu didn’t feature at the 2024 Canadian Open as she wasn’t ranked high enough for a main draw entry and opted not to play in qualifiers.

Her team have promised to learn from their mistakes and she is expected to feature if she gets a direct entry.

Cincinnati Open – August 7-18

The final WTA 1000 event of the North American hard-court swing was another event that Raducanu missed the past two years.

She has featured only once in Cincinnati when she reached the third round in 2023.

US Open – August 25-September 7

Flushing Meadows remains the highlight of Emma Raducanu’s career as she won the tournament on her main draw debut in 2021.

But she hasn’t won a match at the US Open outside of her title run as she lost in the first round in 2022, missed the 2023 tournament and again lost her opener in 2024.

Korea Open – September 15-21

Raducanu reached the quarter-final of the WTA 500 event in 2024 before a foot injury forced her to retire after the first set against Daria Kasatkina.

China Open – September 24-October 5

Raducanu planned to play a full Asia swing in 2024, but her journey was cut short by injury.

She will likely make her debut at the 2025 WTA 1000 event if she qualifies through her ranking.

Wuhan Open – October 6-12

The Wuhan Open was another event that Raducanu was forced to miss due to injury, but she could finally make an appearance in 2025.

Ningbo Open/Guangzhou Open/Hong Kong Open – October 6-November 2

The three Chinese events featured on Raducanu’s 2024 schedule.

Billie Jean King Cup Finals – November 10-17

If Great Britain qualify for the Finals then Raducanu is expected to feature.
