How much money and points did Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz earn at the Australian Open?

Jannik Sinner is unsurprisingly the big prize money and ranking points winner at the Australian Open following a successful defence of his title Down Under.
The world No 1 won his third Grand Slam title in emphatic fashion on Sunday, dispatching world No 2 Alexander Zverev 6-3, 7-6(4), 6-3 to continue his recent dominance in the men’s game.
Sinner did not face a break point throughout the final and dropped just two sets on his way to the title, to Tristan Schoolkate in round two and Holger Rune in round four.
By successfully defending his title, the Italian has again earned 2000 ranking points – just as he did 12 months ago.
That means he will remain on 11,830 points when the ATP Rankings update on Monday, almost 4,000 points ahead of anyone else.
Sinner has also collected a cool A$3,500,000 (about US$2,211,000 and £1,780,000) for his victory, an A$350,000 increase on the prize money he won for his first Grand Slam title in Melbourne 12 months ago.
That will move him up to eighth in all-time men’s singles career prize money earners, ahead of Carlos Alcaraz and Stan Wawrinka.
The all-time men’s singles prize money leader is Novak Djokovic, who added to his collection with a run to the semi-final in Melbourne.
A positive tournament for the 10-time Australian Open champion ended in heartbreaking fashion, with the Serbian forced to retire injured in his semi-final against Alexander Zverev.
By matching his semi-final run from 2024, Djokovic has again earned 800 ranking points – meaning he will stay on 3,900 ranking points by Monday.
That is enough for Djokovic to move up one spot in the ATP Rankings to world No 6, with Daniil Medvedev falling to world No 7 after his early exit.
Djokovic also earned A$1,100,000 for (US$695,000 and £559,000) his run to the last four, bringing his total career prize money haul closer to the $190m mark.
For world No 3 Alcaraz, his Australian Open struggles continued, with the Spaniard falling to Djokovic in a four-set quarter-final defeat.
Alcaraz is yet to make it to the last four in Melbourne, having also lost in the last eight a year ago to Zverev.
By reaching the quarter-finals, the 21-year-old again earned 400 ranking points, and will remain as the world No 3 on Monday with 7,010 points to his name.
He has also claimed A$665,000 (US$420,00 and £338,000) in prize money and now sits ninth in the men’s singles all-time standings.

The 7 men to lose their first three Grand Slam finals: Zverev joins Agassi, Lendl
Though he suffered his third Grand Slam final defeat in as many finals, Zverev is a big ATP Rankings winner in Melbourne.
The German was awarded 1300 points for his run to the final, bettering his haul of 800 points for his 2024 semi-final loss.
That means Zverev will stay as the world No 2 but moves up to 8,135 points come Monday, marginally closing the gap to Sinner – but moving 1,125 points ahead of Alcaraz.
Zverev also earns A$1,900,000 (US$1,2m and £1,9m) in prize money.
Another big ranking points winner was Ben Shelton, who reached his second Grand Slam semi-final before losing to Sinner.
The US star earned 800 ranking points and will return to the top 20 of the ATP Rankings, while also claiming A$1,100,000 (US$695,000 and £559,000).
