What tennis shoes are worn by Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz?

The ATP Rankings may beg to differ, but the three best male tennis players heading into 2025 are believed to be world No 1 Jannik Sinner, legendary Serbian Novak Djokovic and Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz.
The trio are expected to compete for many of the major men’s titles this year, the trio are expected to be the leading contenders for the four Grand Slam titles over the next few months.
To compete in all four major tournaments and the host of other events across a gruelling season they will need the best kit and one of the important parts of their armoury, aside from rackets, are their tennis shoes.
Here, we take a look at the shoes worn by the world’s best players and where players can pick up a pair for their own tennis season.
Jannik Sinner’s tennis shoes
The Australian Open champion has been using and endorsing Nike tennis shoes for a few years.
He famously wore the Nike Zoom Zero shoes for several years after they were discontinued. His decision to use an older range of shoes is a strong endorsement for the Italian tennis superstar and he won his first major, the 2024 Australian Open, in his preferred footwear.
The latest iteration of the range are the Nike Zoom GP Challenge 1 and Sinner has finally moved to the new shoe, although he has had it modified slightly for a closer fit to the Zoom.
The Nike Zoom GP Challenge 1 is one of the best hard court tennis shoes on the market. It has two Nike Air units and, according to the brand, offers side-to-side stability to help you move across the court quickly and comfortably.
The shoes have excellent support and stability, and they are one of the more cushioned tennis shoes on the market.

Novak Djokovic
Djokovic has won a record 24 Grand Slam titles including ten Australian Open wins in an incredible career. The Serbian is one of the most decorated tennis players of all time and his footwear is a big part of that success.
After a record breaking career, Djokovic does not just have a favourite tennis shoe. Instead, he has a shoe completely designed and approved by him and it even features his own logo on the rear of the shoe.
The Asics Court FF 3 Novak is designed to support extreme movements on the court. That means it’s perfect for those who like to play an explosive game with plenty of twists and turns. It promises stability as you move and has been tested by Djokovic himself to ensure it is of the highest quality.
It is also quite an affordable tennis shoe, priced at just £119 in the UK and $175 in the US.
Carlos Alcaraz
Spaniard Alcaraz is one of the biggest superstars in tennis having won four major titles including the past two Wimbledon tournaments.
His latest victory at Wimbledon caused a stir when he appeared in Nike Vapor 11 shoes in his own unique colourway. It marked the first time Nike awarded him with his own signature shoe, meaning he got the same treatment as the likes of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic from major sports brands.
Available in three distinct colourways and with several special editions already released, the Nike Vapor 11 is one of the more stylish choices.
The Nike Vapor 11 is all about speed. It has shock-absorbing Zoom Air and a full-length foot frame to provide extra stability through changes in speed and direction. They are designed for quick players who want to be comfortable at high speeds.
