What prize money and ranking points did Emma Raducanu earn for her Wimbledon campaign?

Emma Raducanu’s Wimbledon campaign came to an end on Friday night – but there will be plenty of positives for her to take after an impressive three matches.
After beating British wildcard Mimi Xu in round one and former SW19 champion Marketa Vondrousova in round two, Raducanu was beaten 7-6(6), 6-4 by world No 1 Aryna Sabalenka in the third round.
Despite the defeat, it was an encouraging display for Raducanu, who competed well against Sabalenka, who has now reached the second week of her last 11 Grand Slam appearances.
“It’s hard to take a loss like that. At the same time, I’m playing Aryna, who is No 1 in the world, a great champion. I have to be proud of my effort,” said Raducanu.
“It does give me confidence because I think the problem before was that I felt like I was gulfs away from the very top. Having a match like that where I had chances in both sets, it does give me confidence.”
Raducanu’s campaign may be over, but what has she earned for her efforts at the All England Club?
Here, we look at the ranking points and prize money the 22-year-old will take from her home Grand Slam tournament in 2025.
Ranking points
Raducanu earned 10 points merely by entering the main draw and, by reaching the second round with a victory over Xu, moved up to 70 ranking points for the tournament.
Her impressive triumph over Vondrousova in the second round pushed her to 130 points for reaching round three, though her points haul stops there for her 2025 Wimbledon campaign.
That is a decrease from her ranking points from the 2024 edition of the Championships, where she earned 240 points after progressing to the fourth round.

Raducanu will therefore drop 110 ranking points when the WTA Rankings update post-tournament, and she is currently set to fall five places to world No 45, according to the WTA Live Rankings.
However, with limited points to defend across the rest of the season, the 22-year-old undoubtedly has a big chance to surge back up over the coming months.
After Wimbledon last year, the Brit played just three more tour-level events across the rest of the season, including an opening-round exit at the US Open.
That will mean she could have plenty of opportunities to surge back inside the top 40 over the next few months.
Prize money
At the start of the tournament, Raducanu was guaranteed £66,000 in prize money merely by entering the draw, with that payout offered to every player who loses in the opening round.
By reaching the second round, her Wimbledon prize money moved up to £99,000, and for her third-round display, she will ultimately be awarded £152,000.
Had Raducanu reached the fourth round, she would have earned £240,000, while the winner of the women’s event will receive a staggering £3,000,000 in 2025.
