The likes of Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, and Coco Gauff all found huge success on the WTA Tour this past year – but what did they use to scale those heights?

We look at what rackets the WTA year-end top 10 used to power their 2024 success.

1) Aryna Sabalenka – Wilson

Sabalenka was the dominant force on the WTA Tour in 2024, with the Belarusian topping the year-end rankings and winning the Australian and US Open titles.

The Belarusian uses the Wilson Blade 98 v9, having been sponsored by the famed company for several years.

2) Iga Swiatek – Tecnifibre

2024 saw Swiatek win her fifth Grand Slam title at Roland Garros, alongside capturing a further four WTA 1000 titles across the season.

The world No 2 is the highest-profile Tecnifibre athlete and currently uses the T-FIGHT 300 ISOFLEX.

3) Coco Gauff – Head

US star Gauff ended the year as the world No 3 after winning three titles – including the WTA Finals – and reaching semi-finals at the Australian Open and French Open.

Gauff has been sponsored by Head for the majority of her playing career and is using the HEAD Boom MP as things stand.

4) Jasmine Paolini – Yonex

One of the biggest breakout stars of 2024, Paolini cracked the top 10 in a year that saw her reach the French Open and Wimbledon finals – and win doubles gold at the Olympics.

Paolini is the first of four players in the WTA top 10 who uses a Yonex racket, specifically the Yonex Vcore 100.

5) Zheng Qinwen – Wilson

2024 saw Chinese star Qinwen not only reach her first Grand Slam final at the Australian Open but also win Olympic gold in Paris – alongside a further two WTA titles.

World No 5 Qinwen is the highest-ranked player on the WTA to use a Wilson racket, with the 22-year-old employing the Wilson Pro Staff 97 V14 to power her success.

6) Elena Rybakina – Yonex

Despite struggles with injury and illness across 2024, Rybakina still managed to win three WTA Tour titles and finish the year as the world No 6.

Former Wimbledon winner Rybakina is another player sponsored by Yonex, and the Kazakh uses – much like Paolini – the Vcore 100.

7) Jessica Pegula – Yonex

Pegula broke through to reach her first Grand Slam singles final at the US Open in 2024, also winning significant titles in Canada and Berlin.

The American No 2 uses a Yonex racket, playing with the Yonex Ezone 98 since moving to the company early on during her playing career.

8) Emma Navarro – Yonex

Another breakthrough star of 2024, American ace Navarro won her first WTA title in Hobart at the beginning of the year – before making the last eight at Wimbledon and last four of the US Open.

Navarro is the fourth and final player in the WTA top 10 to use a Yonex racket, with the 23-year-old playing with a Yonex VCORE 98.

9) Daria Kasatkina – Artengo

A consistent figure towards the top of the WTA for numerous years, Kasatkina won titles in Eastbourne and Ningbo in 2024, alongside reaching a further four finals.

The Russian uses an Artengo racket, specifically the Artengo TR990 POWER PRO.

10) Barbora Krejcikova – Head

An injury-disrupted 2024 did not stop former world No 2 Krejcikova from claiming her second Grand Slam singles title in 2024, with the Czech triumphant at Wimbledon.

Krejickova is one of two WTA players in the 2024 year-end top 10 to play with a Head racket, using the Head Extreme MP.
