“I’m always looking forward to the grass-court season, so I’ll start my preparations for it a little earlier than usual next year,” Murray said.
“I will be playing on grass in Stuttgart for the first time and I am really looking forward to this new experience.”
Why Andy Murray should take heart from his near misses in 2021
The Mercedes Cup main draw runs from June 6-12 and Murray is expected to conclude his Wimbledon preparation at the Queen’s Club Championships from June 13-19.
He is then set to take the week before Wimbledon off before heading to the All England Club for the grass-court Grand Slam, which will run from June 27 to July 10.
