ATP Rankings Race To Turin: Carlos Alcaraz leads with Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic in chasing pack

As the grass-court season starts to heat up, Carlos Alcaraz remains in pole position in the ATP Rankings Race To Turin by a healthy margin.
The 2025 ATP Finals will be the fifth edition of the tournament held in Turin, with the eight qualifiers competing for the biggest prize money pot in tennis.
Jannik Sinner secured an eye-watering $4,881,100 — a record paycheck for a tournament winner in tennis — for his undefeated run to the title at last year’s event.
The eight men who earn the most ranking points in the 2025 season will qualify for the ATP Tour showpiece, which will be staged from November 9 to 16.
If a current-year Grand Slam winner finishes between ninth and 20th in the Race, they will claim the eighth and final qualification place.
Alcaraz, the world No 2, has 5,790 points in the Race after his opening round victory at the Queen’s Club Championships. The Spaniard extended his led at the top after defending his French Open title earlier this month.
World No 1 Sinner, who is in action at the Halle Open, is 1,790 points adrift of Alcaraz in second place, while the Italian holds a 920-point lead over Alexander Zverev in third.
Jack Draper and Lorenzo Musetti are both in strong positions to make their debuts at the year-end championships. The Brit occupies fourth spot with 2,740 points, while the Italian is 140 points behind him in fifth.

Novak Djokovic, who skipped the ATP Finals despite qualifying last year, is in sixth place on 2,580 points — which puts him 505 points clear of Casper Ruud in seventh.
Tommy Paul currently occupies the eighth and final qualification spot, with the American 65 points above Alex de Minaur in ninth and 90 points ahead of Ben Shelton in 10th.
Holger Rune, Jakub Mensik, Francisco Cerundolo, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Andrey Rublev are all less than 400 points behind Paul.
Former ATP Finals champions Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas, and last year’s runner-up Taylor Fritz, all have work to do if they are to return to the prestigious event this season.
Fritz, Medvedev and Tsitsipas sit 17th, 18th and 19th respectively in the Live Race Rankings.
