ATP Rankings: Cameron Norrie earns top 10 milestone, Carlos Alcaraz at No 11, Roger Federer slumps out of top 40
Novak Djokovic continues to stretch his record for most weeks at No 1 in the ATP Rankings while there were also new milestones for Casper Ruud, Cameron Norrie and Carlos Alcaraz, but Roger Federer’s slip down the rankings continue.
Having reclaimed the world No 1 spot from Daniil Medvedev after the Indian Wells Open, Djokovic’s sixth stint at the top will last for at least a few more weeks after Medvedev confirmed he would be out of action for one to two months after undergoing a hernia operation.
Djokovic started his 364th week at No 1 on April 4 and he has a 10-point lead over Medvedev with Alexander Zverev another 1,215 points adrift in third while Rafael Nadal is 80 points off the German in fourth.
Ruud is up to a career-high No 7 after finishing runner-up at the Miami Open while the man who beat him, Alcaraz, sits at No 11 after climbing five places on the back of his run in Florida.

British No 1 Norrie reaches the top 10 for the first time as he moved two places up to No 10, just 185 points behind Felix Auger-Aliassime at No 9.
Norrie’s rise up the rankings has come on the back of winning the Delray Beach Open, finishing runner-up to Nadal at the Mexican Open and reaching the round of 16 in Miami. He also reached the quarter-final in Indian Wells, but lost points as he was the defending champion.
Further down the list and 20-time Grand Slam winner Federer now finds himself at No 44 after dropping another 18 places in the rankings following his prolonged absence.
The 40-year-old has not played competitive tennis since Wimbledon last year and he is only expected to return to action in a few months with his participation at this year’s The Championships touch and go.
Meanwhile, another former world No 1 Andy Murray moved up one place to No 84 after winning one match in Miami.
