Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton are the big winners in the latest edition of the ATP Rankings as Novak Djokovic and Jack Draper have been dealt a blow.

Jannik Sinner has entered his 54th consecutive week as the world No 1, which is the fourth-longest maiden stint on top of the rankings in ATP history.

The Italian has overtaken Djokovic, who amassed 53 successive weeks in his first spell as world No 1 between July 2011 and July 2012.

Roger Federer (237), Jimmy Connors (160) and Lleyton Hewitt (75) make up the top three for the longest first stints in top spot.

Sinner is defending 500 points at this week’s Halle Open, but he holds a healthy 2,030 point lead over world No 2 Carlos Alcaraz.

Third-ranked Alexander Zverev has closed the gap to Alcaraz by 115 points after his runner-up result in Stuttgart, but he remains 2,350 points adrift of the Spaniard.

Taylor Fritz has climbed from seventh to fourth — above Djokovic, Jack Draper and Lorenzo Musetti — after defeating Zverev in the Stuttgart final. This puts the American in a strong position to be seeded fourth at Wimbledon.

Ben Shelton has broken into the top 10 for the first time, moving from 12th to 10th on the back of his semi-final run in Stuttgart.
