Daniil Medvedev: Biography, Lifestyle, Lovelife, Net Worth, Career, Endorsements

Daniil Medvedev is determined not to become a one Grand Slam wonder but the former World No 1 already has a career worth celebrating.
Medvedev has been a titlist at every rung of the ATP tournament hierarchy.
His Masters’ victories have all come on hard courts and his sole Grand Slam win to date was at the 2021 US Open.
Medvedev has played just one clay court final in his career, losing to Dominic Thiem in Barcelona in April 2019.
Medvedev became the first man outside of the Big Four to hold the world No 1 ranking since Andy Roddick in February 2004 some 18 years after the American in February 2022.
He is the third Russian man following Yevgeny Kafelniko and Marat Safin, and the 27th man overall to reach the summit of the ATP Rankings.
Medvedev has shown himself to have one of the best backhands on tour and is a noted counterpuncher.
He will often favour giving himself time by staying as deep as he can in the court, but this strategy is arguably why he has struggled on clay and grass.
His clay struggles aside, Medvedev is one of the hardest players to beat on a hard court and has improved on grass although he was denied the chance to play at Wimbledon in 2022 by the ban on Russian and Belarusian players.
Daniil Medvedev Lifestyle
Daniil Medvedev feels the need for speed as we now from the revocation of his driving license in Monaco after a speeding incident.
He owns several sports cars and likes to take them out for drives when he is not busy on Tour.
He has a fondness for BMWs but also has a few Mercedes in his impressive collection of cars.
Lovelife
Daniil Medvedev married his longtime girlfriend Darya in September 2018.
The couple recently welcomed their first child, during the incredible tennis baby boom of October 2022.
Medvedev has largely shielded his family from the glare of the spotlight and rarely features them on his social media.
Instead you will most see Daniil Medvedev on court across his official social platforms.
Daniil Medvedev Net Worth
Daniil Medvedev was the seventh-highest paid tennis player between 2021 and 2022.
He has an estimated Net Worth of $20 million.
Medvedev acts as the brand ambassador for BMW in Russia.
His endorsement portfolio appears to be growing despite some brands shying away from supporting Russian athletes.
Career
Daniil Medvedev has been a player perfoming at a consistently high level since just before the pandemic hit.
He came close to adding to his 2021 US Open win at the 2022 Australian open before falling victim to an awesome Rafael Nadal fightback.
Medvedev also won the 2020 ATP Tour finals signalling his arrival as a force.
Daniil Medvedev Endorsements
Medvedev’s apparel sponsor is the world-famous Lacoste brand while Tecnifibre supplies all his rackets.
His interest in gaming is well-documented, and this would help him bag an endorsement from HyperX.
He’s also endorsed by Bovet and Tinkoff and earned $8 million in endorsements in 2021.
