Emma Raducanu’s US Open outfit to be displayed at Hall of Fame as teen donates title-winning top and skirt

Emma Raducanu’s US Open outfit has found a new home as the teenager has donated the top and skirt that she wore en route to her historic title run to the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
Raducanu became the first qualifier – male or female – to win a Grand Slam after beating fellow teenager Leylah Fernandez in the final at Flushing Meadows.
She also became the first British woman to win a major singles title in 44 years with her stunning run seeing her move from outside the world top 300 to inside the top 30.
The 18-year-old, who had only made her Grand Slam debut at Wimbledon earlier in the year, wore a Nike Heritage classic style V-neck red tank top with contrast trims and a blue skirt with red pleats.

“A legendary run: preserved,” the Tennis Hall of Fame tweeted.
“Thank you, @EmmaRaducanu, for donating your memorable #USOpen outfit to the ITHF collection!”
The outfit will be on display at the Museum in Newport, Rhode Island.
Raducanu, who is looking for a new coach after revealing she will not continue her partnership with former Davis Cup player Andrew Richardson, is yet to confirm if she will return to action at the Indian Wells Masters, which starts on October 6.
Although she has risen to No 22 in the WTA Rankings, the British No 1 did not get an automatic entry into the WTA 1000 event as entries were submitted before her historic run to victory at Flushing Meadows.
