Former ATP Tour professional Jack Sock and his wife Laura Little have become the proud parents of a baby boy named Brody Bryan Sock.

The couple announced the arrival of their son and called the newborn child the “greatest blessing” life has provided.

The couple, Sock and Little, who tied the knot in December 2020, revealed their pregnancy in July of this year.

They revealed the gender of their child on social media with a touching video that showed them slicing into a cake covered in blue frosting.

The couple shared the first glimpse of their newborn in an Instagram post.

“Everyone say hi to Brody Bryan Sock our greatest blessing on 11/14/23,” the post was captioned.

In an impassioned post published in August of this year, Sock declared his retirement and thanked his family, friends, coaches, and fans for their support across his 14-year career.

“To the 8-year-old boy who immediately fell in love with the sport of tennis, I hope I made you proud. It’s been 14 years of memories I will never forget. Without the help of so many people, none of that could’ve ever happened,” Jack Sock wrote.”I’ve had the privilege of competing in Flushing Meadows since I was seventeen, and this year’s US Open will be the final event of my career. I look forward to creating memories in front of the best fans in the world one last time!” he added.

Coco Gauff, Leylah Fernandez, and many others in the tennis world congratulated the couple on their special day.

Gauff was among the first to reach out and congratulate Sock. The 19-year-old American who recently won the 2023 US Open, wrote in reply to their instagram announcement and first baby picture: “Congrats ❤️ very adorable.”

Sock and Gauff twice formed a mixed doubles team for runs at a Grand Slam but they weren’t able to string together the results.

Another former doubles partner of Sock’s and a man who also recently retired is John Isner. Isner congratulated the couple with a message that was just a string of hearts. Sock, an Olympic gold medalist and four-time doubles Grand Slam champion, retired after playing one last US Open with his good friend Isner.

Former US Open finalist and 2023 Billie Jean King Cup winner Leylah Fernandez joined the wellwishers.

Fernandez wrote: “Congrats to you both! He’s so cute!!”

Former World No 1 Kim Clijsters and also Bob Bryan joined in and congratulated the couple.
