Iga Swiatek names Andy Murray as dream hitting partner at Indian Wells and Scot offers to grant her the wish

Iga Swiatek looks set to tick off another item from her to-do list as Andy Murray has offered to be her hitting partner at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.
Former French Open champion Swiatek opened her WTA 1000 campaign in California with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Petra Martic on Friday and after the match she was asked on Tennis Channel who is her dream hitting partner at Indian Wells.
The Pole, who had a practice session with 20-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal at Roland Garros this year, replied: “That’s a tough one. I would love to play with Andy Murray.
“We actually had a little chat on Twitter so maybe it is going to be possible to finally play.
“He also seems like such a nice guy. Good sense of humour.”
Swiatek also jokingly asked Murray for a practice session ahead of Wimbledon after the former world No 1 Murray revealed that he “loves watching her play”.
And it looks like this time the 20-year-old’s wish will be granted with Murray sending out on offer on Twitter.
I don’t have her number unfortunately but I’m hitting at 3pm tomorrow if she wants to join? @iga_swiatek lets do it 🤗 https://t.co/CzCtii3PYd
