Jannik Sinner has firmly established himself as the king of men’s tennis, but his relentless run of success has been impacted by the biggest story to hit tennis in many years.

Sinner’s two positive drug tests in March 2024 sent shockwaves through the sport, with his three-month ban in February 2025 ensuring he will always have a negative mark against his name in the eyes of many sports fans.

Yet Sinner should also be assured of a place among the game’s all-time greats, with his three Grand Slam titles and status as world No 1 confirming he has already achieved so much by the age of just 23.

HOW MUCH PRIZE MONEY HAS JANNIK SINNER WON?

Sinner has collected a stunning $39,389,088 in official prize money during his career, with a large slice of that vast windfall coming during 2024 and the start of 2025. He is currently in 8th place in the all-time prize money list for men’s tennis, with 14-time Grand Slam champion Pete Sampras just ahead of him with $43,280,489.

He also won a massive $6.5million in prize money when he won the Six Kings Slam exhibition tournament in Saudi Arabia last year.

WHEN IS JANNIK SINNER’S NEXT TOURNAMENT?

Sinner’s three-month drug ban is set to expire just before the Italian Open and he will aim to return to play in front of his home fans in a tournament that gets underway on May 7.

JANNIK SINNER’S SPONSORS

After emerging as a future star of the sport, Nike reportedly signed a sponsorship deal worth $158 million with Sinner in 2022.

Sinner has also been sponsored by Gucci, Rolex, Lavazza, Alfa Romeo and Enervit.

JANNIK SINNER’S BEST WINS

Sinner’s helped Italy win the 2023 Davis Cup in a tournament that saw him come back from match point down to beat Novak Djokovic in a memorable semi-final in Malaga.

He went on to win his first Grand Slam title a few months later when he lifted the Australian Open title and backed that up by winning the US Open last September.

Sinner retained his Australian Open title in January 2025 and he has a total of 19 career titles, including four at ATP Masters 1000 level.

WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT JANNIK SINNER

Carlos Alcaraz: “Jannik is the best right now,. He has lost only four or five matches in the past year, so it is crazy. I know people say who’s better out of us. They say Jannik is better or some say me. It is all discussion.

“For me, I think for a tennis player, we have to face Jannik and he is winning everything he is playing. He is focused every time, so I think he is the best. Every tournament he plays, he makes the final or lifts the trophy.”

Former British No 1 Tim Henman: “There’s no doubt he was the most improved player of 2023 and then to be able to take that form into 2024 and win his first Grand Slam title was an incredible achievement.

“He has kicked on from there and taken it up a couple of levels. He is adding more strings to his bow and has been playing some incredible tennis.”

Sky Sports Tennis presenter Gigi Salmon:  “With Sinner, I’m struggling to find a weakness. How do you ruffle him, how do you get under his skin? How do you get him off-balance? The skiing he did has helped his balance, which is just perfection.

“What impressed me most about him last year was that with everything going on was how mentally strong he stayed. It was just ridiculous.

“He will know the punishment he could get and if it is one year, that would be seismic. To continue to play the way he has done with that hanging over him is amazing.”
